LEELANAU, MI — The Good Bowl of Traverse City is teaming up with Bel Lago Winery in a wine and small plates event on June 19 from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. This event will feature a variety of Bel Lago wines and Vietnamese cuisine expertly paired by Good Bowl Chef Devin Shaw.
The courses will be presented as follows:
1st course –Auxerrois Sparkling paired with Tiger Prawn Chili Lime Ceviche with Lychee Shaved Ice.
2nd course – Auxerrois Reserve White paired with Chicken Banh Mi Crostini.
3rd course– Bel Lago Pinot Noir paired with Lemongrass Saigon Beer Braised Short Rib.
4th course– Gewurztraminer paired with Mango Pandan Verrine.
Tickets for this event are $60/person (gratuity included) and can be purchased online.
Founded in 2018, The Good Bowl of Traverse City is a premium fast-casual Vietnamese eatery that offers a fresh, healthy, and unique dining experience while also giving guests the opportunity to contribute to their communities. Bel Lago Vineyards and Winery earns its name from the tasting room’s picturesque view overlooking the beautiful vineyard and south Lake Leelanau, in the heart of Leelanau County. Founded in 1987, Bel Lago grows more than 100 varieties on 37 acres, selecting varieties that favor cool climates and express the rich soil of the area. In addition to the popular vinifera, varieties include Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer, and Riesling. In addition to wine, Bel Lago produces several hard ciders.
