Made entirely from Steuben grapes, Redux is a bright, aromatic dry rosé wine showcasing notes of hibiscus, watermelon, raspberry, and cotton candy.
The inaugural release of the 2020 vintage quickly became a top-selling wine at Chaddsford’s retail locations and went on to earn a Gold Medal from the Pennsylvania Wine Association’s 2021 Pennsylvania Wine Competition.
The hybrid Steuben grape used to make Redux is nicknamed ‘ambrosia’ by wine enthusiasts for its sweet and honeyed qualities on the nose, and it thrives in the Northeastern United States due to it being one of the most disease-resistant grape varieties grown. Arborhurst Vineyards, located in Lake Erie, PA, is a family-owned and operated farm whose Steuben grapes are now grown exclusively for Chaddsford.
In preparing to release a second vintage of Redux, Chaddsford sought to elevate the packaging of the fan-favorite rosé with the help of keystone state artist, Seek One.
A Philadelphia native, Seek One began his career in his teens when writing graffiti. His work quickly developed and incorporated a combination of techniques in a mixed media style, drawing influence from pop and urban cultures. Seek One’s innovative fine art has gained a global following with original works showcased in regional and global galleries.
‘21 Redux brings together Seek One’s iconic art and Chaddsford’s decades long history with fresh, reimagined packaging. A nod to its prior label, ’21 Redux features shingles from the Winery’s Cottage overlaid with authentic
artwork by Seek One. Vivid pink, orange, and purple paint splashes animate the gray surface while complementing the wine’s coral hue and juicy tasting notes.
To celebrate the new vintage, Chaddsford will release ’21 Redux on Saturday, April 9 at its retail locations, as well as online at chaddsford.com. Seek One will be onsite at the Winery’s main location in Chester County from 1-3pm that day, where guests can meet the artist, get their bottles signed, enjoy artisanal pizza pairings from Common Good Pizza, and be among the very first to try the newest vintage by the glass, in a flight or with specialty cocktails.
