The Casa and The Villas at Gervasi Vineyard were awarded Unique Property of the Year at the 2021 Ohio Hotel and Lodging Association’s annual conference.
The Ohio Hotel & Lodging Association (OHLA) is one of America’s oldest hotel associations. Founded in 1893, the mission of the OHLA is to provide advocacy, information, resources, and education for Ohio’s lodging properties while promoting and assisting Ohio’s hospitality and tourism industry.
Unique Lodging of Ohio (ULO) is a sector of the Ohio Hotel & Lodging Association. A Unique Lodging of Ohio property is an independent property that encompasses the character and experiences that are available throughout the state through an emphasis on connecting to local roots. Gervasi Vineyard has a long-standing partnership with the Ohio Hotel & Lodging Association and its Unique Lodging of Ohio entity.
The Casa and The Villas at Gervasi Vineyard were nominated based on the memorable experiences Gervasi can offer their guests, along with their exceptional staff. The Casa and the Villas total 48 luxurious suites with high-end amenities that include in-suite fireplaces, heated tile floors, and walk-in showers. A complimentary continental breakfast is delivered to guests’ suites each morning.
“The winning nominee for ULO of the year focuses on creating memorable experiences for all travelers and visitors to their 55-acre estate. They pride themselves on being a true destination. No matter the guest or time of year, there are amenities and activities for everyone,” Lauren Stazen, OHLA’s Unique Lodging of Ohio council liaison, said when presenting the award. “The property credits their staff and team as being beyond exceptional. Their employee retention goes hand in hand with customer service and professionalism as the associates exude a true passion for hospitality and creating exceptional experiences and memories for their guests.”
