Mawby Sparkling Wine is happy to announce that starting this holiday season their flagship wine ‘Sex’ will be available for purchase in all Meijer stores throughout the Midwest (Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan).
Sex, a Rosé Sparkling wine is Mawby’s most provocative wine offering. A brut blend of Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Riesling and Muscat grapes, this wine has ripe red fruit aromas, soft fruit flavors and a smooth, rounded finish.
The grapes are hand-picked and carefully whole-cluster pressed. The juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks, then blended with reserve wines and fermented a second time in a closed tank, and then filtered, dosaged, and bottled.
Co-owner and operator Mike Laing is excited for new customers to experience their fan favorite wine, “We have had a wonderful relationship with Meijer in Michigan! We are excited for the opportunity to share Sex with new and existing customers, in more markets, through this partnership.”
