Michael David Winery has introduced their “Chardonnay in a Can” package, a 4-pack of 187ml Freakshow Chardonnay wine cans. Giving consumers a way to take their Freak on the go, Freakshow Chardonnay cans offer a single wine serving with an eye-catching label the Freakshow brand is known for. With the release of Freakshow “Cab in a Can” in 2019, this marks the second varietal in Michael David Winery’s canned wine portfolio.
Released just in time for the spring and summer months, the cans are perfectly portioned and ideal for consumption on-the-go or when an entire bottle of wine is not necessary. Intended to be enjoyed anytime, anywhere – Freakshow Chardonnay cans are easy to tote outdoors, at sporting events, lakeside and beyond. Following the launch of Freakshow Chardonnay in September 2019, each Chardonnay 4-pack contains the same amount of wine as a 750ml bottle.
Certified sustainable under the Lodi Rules program, the grapes are sourced from the Michael and David Phillips family vineyards in the Lodi Appellation. Approachable, flirty and fun loving, Freakshow Chardonnay is fruit forward and crisp, with mouthwatering aromas of juicy mango, summer stone fruit, cinnamon spice and buttered popcorn. Enchanting flavors of nectarine, stewed Golden Delicious apples, butterscotch, hickory and a hint of vanilla and coconut round out the finish.
Since its inception in 2012, the Freakshow brand has grown from 5,000 to over 350,000 cases across 4 varietals. The wines have won numerous accolades from across the country and are distributed in all 50 states and over 26 countries. Available nationwide April 1st, the 2018 Freakshow Chardonnay 4-packs of 187ml cans will be line priced with the Freakshow Chardonnay bottle at $18 SRP.
